SMS Opt-In & Messaging Terms
Consent to receive text messages from David Rios. Please read these terms carefully.
Last updated: August 22, 2026
1. Program & sender
This text messaging program is operated by David Rios ("we," "us," or "our"). By providing your mobile phone number and opting in, you consent to receive recurring automated text (SMS/MMS) messages from us at the number you provide.
2. Types of messages you may receive
These are two separate consents, collected with two separate checkboxes. Agreeing to one does not opt you into the other, and you can withdraw either on its own.
2a. Service messages — the first checkbox
Messages about work you have already asked me about:
- Scheduling, booking reminders and confirmations
- Follow-up on an inquiry or a call you booked
- Updates on an engagement that is already underway
- Replies to questions you send me
2b. Marketing messages — the second checkbox
Messages sent to keep in touch when nothing is currently underway:
- Occasional tips and updates on phone reputation, A2P/10DLC and caller-ID
- Offers, announcements, and invitations
- Re-engagement after a gap
Consent to marketing messages is never a condition of any purchase. If you decline it, or withdraw it later, everything else works exactly the same.
3. Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your interactions with us and the services you request. For example, you may receive messages when you book an appointment, when there is an update to your project, or in response to a question you send us.
4. Cost
Message and data rates may apply. David Rios does not charge for the messages, but your mobile carrier's standard message and data rates will apply to each message sent or received. Please contact your wireless provider for details about your plan.
5. How to opt in
You can opt in to receive text messages by any of the following methods:
- Checking the SMS consent box on our contact or booking form and submitting it;
- Completing the opt-in form below;
- Providing your number and agreeing to receive texts during a call or in writing; or
- Texting us first to start a conversation.
Your consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchasing any goods or services.
6. How to opt out
You can cancel the SMS service at any time by texting STOP to the number you receive messages from. After you send STOP, we will send you a confirmation message and then stop sending you SMS messages. If you want to rejoin, sign up again as you did the first time and we will resume sending messages to you.
7. Help & support
If you are experiencing issues with the messaging program you can reply with the keyword HELP for more assistance, or reach us directly at david@onlydavid.me or (726) 999-0727.
8. Carriers
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery is subject to the effective transmission from your wireless service provider and is outside of our control.
9. Privacy
We respect your privacy. We will only use the information you provide to transmit your text messages and respond to you. Mobile information will not be shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The categories of information we share with subcontractors (such as our SMS messaging provider) are solely to help us deliver these messages. For full details, see our Privacy Policy. These terms are governed by our Terms of Service.
10. Changes to these terms
We may revise these messaging terms from time to time. Changes are effective when posted to this page, and the "Last updated" date above will reflect the most recent revision.
